Sign up today (303) 777-1003 Kristin spent five years on the road with Maryland's Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble, and studied with Scottish-style dancers on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Kristin teaches a musical approach to percussive dancing that takes basic rhythms from both American flatfooting and Canadian stepdance dance traditions and builds them into rhythmic phrases to accompany live music. The focus is on improvising with what you know, so dancers of varying abilities are welcome – but some tap, clogging or stepdance experience would be helpful.
